  • 1. What does Coo-e do?

    Coo-e App allows organisations to send important information such as alerts and urgent notices to a specific audience such as employees, parents, club members, tenants etc.

  • 2. Can I join any organisation?

    You can join any PUBLIC or OPEN organisation. You will know whether an organisation is PUBLIC or OPEN as this will be indicated in the organisation’s profile. All other organisations are regarded as “CLOSED” and you can only join by invitation from the administrator of that Organisation.

  • 3. What is an "Organisation" in the Coo-e App?

    An “Organisation” in the Coo-e App means a group. Organisations subscribe to the app through the Coo-e website.

  • 4. How can I join an Organisation?

    If an Organisation is CLOSED it means that the Organisation is only for invited users, you can join a CLOSED Organisation if you receive an invitation to join the Organisation. To join a CLOSED Organisation, see the Organisation icon on the bottom left of your mobile phone screen for any invitations pending. A unique code provided by the administrator to you by email or SMS will allow you to join the Organisation.

    If the Organisation is Open, that is, anyone can join the Organisation, simply search for the organisation, click on the Organisation’s tile or logo, and follow the prompts to join.

  • 5. What should I do if I have been invited to join an Organisation?

    If you have been invited to join an Organisation, then a red message will appear on the Organisation Icon on the bottom left of the mobile phone screen. Click on this Icon and you will see invitations pending. Click on the “Invitation to Join” and follow the prompts.

  • 6. Can I create sub-groups within an Organisation ?

    The administrator can set up the Organisation to include sub-groups, depending upon the level of subscription.

  • 7. How long are my notifications retained in my Coo-e app?

    Your notifications will be retained for a minimum of 30 days by Coo-e.

  • 8. How can I see all the Organisations that I have joined?

    Click on the “Organisations” Icon. You will then see all the organisations you have joined.

  • 9. If a notification includes time and date information, can this be saved to my Calendar?

    Yes, if a notification contains time or date information, this can be saved to your both your Coo-e and device Calendar. Simply tap the calendar icon in the notification and follow the prompts.

  • 10. How do I acknowledge that I have received a notification?

    If your Organisation is a premium subscriber, you may receive a prompt to acknowledge receipt of the notification. Simply follow the prompts to acknowledge the notification sent by your Organisation.
